The” On The Spot" Project is an independent initiative by YINZI Theater, aiming to invite creators from various fields to engage in an interactive creative practice, with an art exhibition and exchange programme based on a yearly time frame. We hope to create a multifaceted art space in a place where the two rivers of southwest China meet, a place of freedom and introspection, where all forms of art can enter and express themselves naturally.

In 2016, ON THE SPOT was transformed from a "OnTheSpot" art project to an "OnTheSpot" experimental festival. For an experimental theater that has only existed for six years, we ask the question: "What kind of contemporary performance art scene will grow on the soil of Huangjueping, where visual art is the main focus."

There are four main sections: exhibitions, performances, forums, market and tours of the area.
