Traffic teahouse - An Asian producers project on the creation of a subculture space stage.（2016-2019）

Those subculture spaces born from the imbalance of urban development are all out of law places to be governed and cleared, but for some reason they have become living contemporary art scene.

The noise inside the teahouse is also the noise of the city. Through the teahouse to listen to the noise consciously, you can touch the texture of the local living.

Results:

It has gone for almost four years from 2016-2019. Nine (Chinese, Taiwanese and Singaporean) artists and five art institutions have participated in the project. We have completed have now completed 8 residencies, formed 3 experimental sites (at YINZI theatre in Chongqing and Deyang, Sichuan, and one sound site in Taipei), 2 conferences in Chongqing, and helped 5 local artists incubate 4 independent works. 2020 will see an expansion to a 6-city exhibition programme in China. A week-long show has already been held in Yokohama, Japan, in 2020.
