To-gather -- To see To say
TTWF aims to promote cross-cultural exchanges among international independent female performing artists and to empower them to develop cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary co-productions.
“To See” refers to observing the creative atmosphere of female artists, while “To Say” indicates an encouragement for them to speak out. Performing art is their area of expertise. We hope that, through whatever means of communication, creators and observers from different regions who also share our artistic vision will connect as roots and blossom like flowers, stimulating and inspiring each other in different cultural ecologies.
To-gather: " To See, To Say", The New Wave of Performing Arts Project for International Female Artists (short name TTWF) is promoting exchanges and collaborations between Chinese and Swiss women performing artists and building a vibrant performing arts network.
In November 2024 we welcome our third artist, Marie-Caroline Hominal (MCH), a Swiss artist that YINZI Theatre has worked with and invited many times. This residency is a new international co-production in which MCH and YINZI Theatre work together to produce a site-specific performance for the music room and its stage, exploring the theme of the party and its relationship to the body that it evokes, through a week-long workshop in Chongqing. The co-production - Suite for 4 performers was also supported by Pro Helvetia - Shanghai, the French Consulate in Hong Kong, and Chongqing Youth Co-op.
